I love food. Therefore, Thanksgiving is awesome. I love Grandma's shrimp salad....if I can get to it before my dad picks out all of the shrimp, Lisa's chocolate pie, and all the other yummy stuff. Family is fun too...especially the crazy kids running around.
I especially love that Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the Christmas season! I love putting up the tree, listening to Christmas music, and seeing the lights! My parents took us up to Temple Square this year and we went on a carriage ride. We got to share a carriage with Jackie & Jared and their kids. Santa's elf brought Gabby an early present...a Cosmo Cougar hat. I've never known a bigger BYU fan at 4 years old. She says she still loves me despite my being a "Stinkin Ute".
I am a stinkin' Ute and proud of it! Still though, I am excited that there are only 3 weeks left until Christmas break! It is hard to believe that I am almost halfway through the program. It feels as though I just started! I am also excited for Mike to get a break. He has been working so hard and doing so much for us. I got so lucky with him. He's what I'm grateful for this Thanksgiving!
