Thanks, Mom, for taking us and being so much fun to be around! <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwhPM6mAIEG1UXfdzMi1VByocjbIM-UGXW-34XS7s9T9_9WFXAswJLQEzYw6La-CrN2B8IK0qV-95dWhdY-MreBlHEf2F2b6FHuEGN6VcV8K3CHJ-hG2UAgclxfKYVAZojhetTJihTqo2R/s1600-h/IMG_1554.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 282px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 218px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403291420101987058" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwhPM6mAIEG1UXfdzMi1VByocjbIM-UGXW-34XS7s9T9_9WFXAswJLQEzYw6La-CrN2B8IK0qV-95dWhdY-MreBlHEf2F2b6FHuEGN6VcV8K3CHJ-hG2UAgclxfKYVAZojhetTJihTqo2R/s320/IMG_1554.jpg" /></a> We made it to Denver in a very timely manner, thanks to mom's lead foot :) and picked up Rebecca and little Isaac in Fort Collins. We walked around on the 16th Street Mall some before the play on Saturday, then went to eat at my cousin Bryan's house. Funny fact for you, some of the cast members stayed in the same hotel as we did and we saw them at the continental breakfast. I was hoping they would break out into song for us, but it didn't happen :( It was fun to see them though.<br /></div><br /><div align="center"><strong>BYU FOOTBALL<br /></strong>Also, a few weeks ago Mike and I were able to go to the BYU vs Utah State football game with Mike's friend Blake. It was lots of fun, plus the cougars pulled off a "W". The weather was good and our seats were too, thanks to Mikey's dad. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403294645809717458" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM50__wZ3nSeK9j65j8OF3kUkcNuziSeBA2pitsepiTK80pyQfmcdjtH0nOp0d902NA2V3iBN7aczJMnxlJEvG7E_S3EG4PTZMI1tj3xZickxwZchXA705o3DkZEHTrNbPUdl9Oy_SDMiH/s320/IMG_1526.jpg" />GO COUGARS!<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 326px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 210px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403294370186469730" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRHHLNx3f9uCO_8goG3oEpzwlxRMGrh2Z2FVa0Jt6CouLORu3OSOWOAQmDhl2J4kkOUpwRsxOVjYJznXYqJiWDEaQSJjjlIYUgO7NDdwDlq-W4Yc642kKu5sX3W8QoOOeNf6Um2XyFwzEL/s320/IMG_1528.jpg" /></div><p></p><div align="center"><strong>HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!</strong></div><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8wr9RRCJlsJclxeER6uLULW0yqb1MGCjeCkdK-60kJhtXmzEByXs5FMOzOb6UPBrNA-YFQl8ocpi6KIf38qG93-ZjM3gJT87NDn_D5Yd5lUEkNO0Z38NyVuJlLWOR-2sYtAv2RXi3Nn5R/s1600-h/IMG_1542.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 299px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 243px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403296183716940610" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8wr9RRCJlsJclxeER6uLULW0yqb1MGCjeCkdK-60kJhtXmzEByXs5FMOzOb6UPBrNA-YFQl8ocpi6KIf38qG93-ZjM3gJT87NDn_D5Yd5lUEkNO0Z38NyVuJlLWOR-2sYtAv2RXi3Nn5R/s400/IMG_1542.jpg" /></a>Mikey spoiled me on my birthday last month. He surprised me with a massage.... probably because he was sick of me asking him to give me massages. Now he just says that he isn't as good as the professionals so he shouldn't even try :) He's kind of a stinker, but that is what I love about him. He treated me like a princess and even made a cheesecake for me....nevermind that it was the jello kind :) It was a wonderful day that I got to spend with my honey!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAA4UonlwoBlkVidbgzJCjOaFYDwY8fSPMqG25PtUbXSzLKJI6mNeFENT44qzH_8EdYJGgwJNEMtNOSGyqemviIiXftveZt7Uqll8jwlqwz-N0lKmd1JVx-kYkpzC-Fnh1UcVJ8UJLPJYw/s1600-h/IMG_1545.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 240px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403296775098090786" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAA4UonlwoBlkVidbgzJCjOaFYDwY8fSPMqG25PtUbXSzLKJI6mNeFENT44qzH_8EdYJGgwJNEMtNOSGyqemviIiXftveZt7Uqll8jwlqwz-N0lKmd1JVx-kYkpzC-Fnh1UcVJ8UJLPJYw/s320/IMG_1545.jpg" /></a> </p><p></p><p></p><p>Look at him with his masterpiece! It was so funny! He even bought some candles for the cake, but we couldn't find any matches :) We tried lighting them on the stove, but that didn't work out too well. It was a lot of fun though. I have such a great hubby and we have so much fun together.</p>Mike and Lesliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16120245407876219212noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8370353520827755381.post-24847164694550559582009-06-10T20:35:00.000-07:002009-06-10T20:48:32.258-07:00Con-GRAD-ulations Leslie!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWpl73sSLYn-nA4oMGKpQNKUE_DziMJf-OAu-W48WJqZT1t0XXC4kNC0AeTWp8iF3dtrWm7RJKbKN7VrbbneGf53z3cuQqEpZqzGJwQuGNrIm64Y1O9sCL2PjLPvTrehYtjaz09w9P24TT/s1600-h/115.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345910577980287762" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWpl73sSLYn-nA4oMGKpQNKUE_DziMJf-OAu-W48WJqZT1t0XXC4kNC0AeTWp8iF3dtrWm7RJKbKN7VrbbneGf53z3cuQqEpZqzGJwQuGNrIm64Y1O9sCL2PjLPvTrehYtjaz09w9P24TT/s320/115.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw1LGtVtPjzCNOQPV-_NMxoS_kCVwBcNuzkrl0fdAP8WXcnaMVVI6DsgiuuosbOHTx8-Q8nd3-F4yR-si90eqSVGx41_phcH4KGD6ypgvScK6wvpylTKrlDykRKIn7SajF-CmFr1080oJl/s1600-h/099.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345909732937912066" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw1LGtVtPjzCNOQPV-_NMxoS_kCVwBcNuzkrl0fdAP8WXcnaMVVI6DsgiuuosbOHTx8-Q8nd3-F4yR-si90eqSVGx41_phcH4KGD6ypgvScK6wvpylTKrlDykRKIn7SajF-CmFr1080oJl/s320/099.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /><br />This April was an exciting month for Leslie and I. After three years of hard work up at BYU-Idaho, Leslie graduated with her Bachelors of Health Science. That’s right people, three years! It was so much fun to see Les all dressed up in her cap and gown, and then to watch her as she received her diploma. I was so proud of her! During this time we were also able to enjoy the company of both sets of parents, my little brother Jon, and two Grandmas. Thank you for coming and supporting us on this big day. After the graduation ceremony our group took some pictures by the BYU-Idaho sign, and then ate a delicious lasagna dinner back at our little apartment. It was a bit crowded in there, but overall very enjoyable. I just want Leslie to know how proud I am of her! She is an amazing girl, and I am the luckiest guy. I love you Leslie, and congratulations on your Graduation!</div></div>Mike and Lesliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16120245407876219212noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8370353520827755381.post-48807999320346101932009-04-11T23:42:00.000-07:002009-04-12T00:24:32.723-07:00Happy Easter!Hey everyone! We'd like to wish you a happy Easter! I (Mike) am going to start us off, and then let Les finish this blog. These last couple of weeks have been quite hectic with finals and class, yet we have still managed to have a great time. On Friday friends and family gathered and watched proudly as Leslie graduated from BYU-I (just in case you didn't know, the I stands for improved... true story). There will be more on Graduation once we get some pictures off my parent's memory card. Like I said though, we are all so proud of her and all the hard work she has put into obtaining her degree. You go Les! Well I'm going to let Leslie take it from here and share with you some of our Easter festivities.<br /><br /><br />In honor of Easter being tomorrow, Mikey and I colored some eggs. As an indication of the new rising rivalry in our home, these were the first eggs we dyed, unbeknownst to each other:<br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323692188467249106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 256px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidRfZNI9sdmcq67q-x_NuUJCESh1R2eFogkPwDx8VbGMnwUm5Jk8St2u-NlbY6ciMrgC18i4LCpjM2okrdC99fBH1EUWAL_sAz1VxDiayvXwmxyly7mm2NwNqu-XfPlgab5xd5FwlfiM6N/s320/Easter+3.jpg" border="0" /> <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323692470275714434" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 256px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtAjNqRLo5LznVHOuOppcjJK_vYnkXtp0M6XkVmh19Hxn9CFzfe5NTqEm3DC0UtitYtx8BNvYdX1T8Gkj7iJyKM9RAzCwGnhvBw_nmTZBqV_4ShA2o7jtXEeu6nd5yF3HnfhEbR9pln7Ib/s320/Easter+4.jpg" border="0" /><br />We decided that we would have an egg roll to see if it is a sign of what the results of the game this November will be...of course we will only believe it if my blue egg wins :)<br /><br />And the winner is....not my blue egg so really this all means nothing :) <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323692726855727218" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 256px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgi-6Q55kojlALSE_QVBwRzhXvXTAGcq4FNYK4Py0a9lKTxOAP0A8Xv2xBsadMX86INxC2MHsWHpRnWfohFHyS0ru-UrqqWVaZLZ9Y_yOilDY5uFAkTbovhDGY2IO4_KcRm8U7ylUPbjrt/s320/Easter+5.jpg" border="0" /><br />The rest of our beautifully colored eggs: <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323693067932202706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 256px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT8vbxknl0Mp12IAqlmpepK0QQGfzuAEmGeukERQbdSNYQmTaffjvbNjjOnca1DpmxQ1jZ3CDxFsByIBvzu4-4qYRq3OpDK2dmNjrX7jYJEti2xZj4IjCt_jCe8oZCaJlTdgdtEq8jh9OC/s320/Easter+1.jpg" border="0" />Mike and Lesliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16120245407876219212noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8370353520827755381.post-66686272188615392612009-03-22T14:26:00.000-07:002009-03-22T16:45:15.437-07:00Uncle Mike<div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv8p-4FsftZWF_LADwz7xdJQuJLY5vtJETqlP_bAND6SSUQGhuEyPYqGGGZlDuxxsbUtfTyUgVhqljidv_CgC3sWVyx5w0kbVlUbMU2MtvTIqIfy-YZKDOFN9Jbaefz86EFlmpSP4tLZQE/s1600-h/009.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316148833714910002" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv8p-4FsftZWF_LADwz7xdJQuJLY5vtJETqlP_bAND6SSUQGhuEyPYqGGGZlDuxxsbUtfTyUgVhqljidv_CgC3sWVyx5w0kbVlUbMU2MtvTIqIfy-YZKDOFN9Jbaefz86EFlmpSP4tLZQE/s320/009.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div>People are not lying when they tell you that marriage is a life changing experience. As many of you know, Les and I are opposite bookends in our families. She is the youngest child, and I am the oldest. All of her siblings are married, and none of my siblings are married. You get the picture. In being the oldest, I had yet to experience the enjoyment and entertainment that comes from being an uncle.<br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316150173516202306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV_3f9B6Gn5HHUm3apKwN43f9w9CCR7DM6Ls9PDwuiUwB1IX0qBNujOQ9bxPqxBI4nBcgv_Twx_9dH07SJMdXyB5H2wgLCh6VrCbu5bx8vJ8AD9XTVF94TWmRjIxdxQy53tPnQ8bV-PiqP/s320/new+103.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div>So here are a few experiences which have made me chuckle. First off we have Gabby who says, "Mi" when she sees my picture. I don't know if I should say this, but I really get a kick out of fact that to my knowledge she has yet to say any fragment of Leslie's name. That's one point for uncle Mi. Secondly we have Logan's pillow-saber battles. I have to admit that before becoming an uncle, I had no idea that pillow-sabers existed. Let me assure you they do, and that I have fought and look forward to fighting many more battles with them. Last but not least, we have Aaron. One day while a bunch of us were sitting around chatting at the Rose's house, Aaron decided that Lady (Kelly and Steve's dog) needed to join the fun. Being the good uncle that I am, I watched in amusement as Aaron laughed mischievously and pulled the door open enough for Lady to sneak inside. After Lady was taken back outside, all of us there had a good laugh. </div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDqaGlO0BMtCNB4aIBUoRME8edOMHMu4Ax7g4z4ztYzHXVdVjNnF2KNNUA_t8gY2gJnxqAR8pge9osyXXMoA-_LNuW7-Nliik-HQlw0rl9FK8TmpxF61KysYn7S-4x0FwxKnMJqgiPA0SX/s1600-h/DSC_0177Leslie+and+Mike.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316155781305526674" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDqaGlO0BMtCNB4aIBUoRME8edOMHMu4Ax7g4z4ztYzHXVdVjNnF2KNNUA_t8gY2gJnxqAR8pge9osyXXMoA-_LNuW7-Nliik-HQlw0rl9FK8TmpxF61KysYn7S-4x0FwxKnMJqgiPA0SX/s320/DSC_0177Leslie+and+Mike.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div> </div><div>So there you have it. I don't have a ton of experience being an uncle, but thus far it has been a great adventure! Les and I very much so look forward to meeting the two new nephews scheduled to arrive this spring.</div></div></div></div></div></div>Mike and Lesliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16120245407876219212noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8370353520827755381.post-83396081903345329802009-03-16T14:14:00.001-07:002009-03-16T14:17:37.974-07:00Fun Little GameMy sister Kelly had this game on her blog and I thought we would try it out as well to see how it goes!<br /><br />The first three people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:<br /><br />1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! (But, I really hope you will)<br />2- What I create will be just for you.<br />3- It'll be done this year.<br />4- You have no clue what it's going to be.<br />5- I reserve the right to do whatever I want.<br /><br />The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog (or facebook, etc.) and offer the same to the first 3 people who do the same on your blog. The first 3 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did, win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Amid chemistry tests and other various time consuming college studies, we make sure to squeeze in some fun activities too. We really enjoyed bowling, playing games, and going out to dinner with Megan and Aaron Kinghorn and Ammie and Brent Page. This last weekend we went to the famous Big Judd's near Rexburg with Megan and Aaron. Of course I had to order the famous Big Judd burger which weighed in at a respective 1lb. Some of our adventures included playing at the beach, strolling on the pier, riding the roller coasters at Six Flaggs Magic Mountain, and watching Wicked the musical at the Pantages theater in down town Los Angeles. One day while we were strolling along the beach, we happened upon a sea lion basking in the sun. Of course we had to get as close as possible to get some pictures!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />This is the view from our balcony: <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRYc9wcRwZDQpZMbTMnsLlNkbGheO2ZF3rO8RkSFK2uPeRuwh-5CA_cAxhVpWcpghwF0jTZey_fz59TE2Gh6UeE2O5J-wGheNj9_fA7Xg_6WwlD-Y-hF0z-qsGY1EUr1EQMPK_3wW94xq5/s1600-h/new+108.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5313618355052791538" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRYc9wcRwZDQpZMbTMnsLlNkbGheO2ZF3rO8RkSFK2uPeRuwh-5CA_cAxhVpWcpghwF0jTZey_fz59TE2Gh6UeE2O5J-wGheNj9_fA7Xg_6WwlD-Y-hF0z-qsGY1EUr1EQMPK_3wW94xq5/s320/new+108.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />Other than people's looks of amazement at the fact that we were actually married (I guess we do look pretty young to be married), we had a great time!Mike and Lesliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16120245407876219212noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8370353520827755381.post-21983111339337608512009-03-10T20:06:00.000-07:002009-03-10T20:13:26.836-07:00The Wedding<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimxpYRf7IaTIxFwhNLlUPbELlhPZNe50m6Am5TVJklVLk9iWyg0_0x27txG1GMg-KF9B1k23aVuxkkMmC3ZrUrLiGQ-4z7YaWIX3qhmuSymszWdjrjwCR-T9MIn8pij3G5juconX9W4nJ2/s1600-h/DSC_0126Leslie+and+Mike.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5311762792181413522" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimxpYRf7IaTIxFwhNLlUPbELlhPZNe50m6Am5TVJklVLk9iWyg0_0x27txG1GMg-KF9B1k23aVuxkkMmC3ZrUrLiGQ-4z7YaWIX3qhmuSymszWdjrjwCR-T9MIn8pij3G5juconX9W4nJ2/s320/DSC_0126Leslie+and+Mike.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>We were married this last December 27th in the Mt.
